We, the people, have been enriched by the gifts of the presence
of Barack Obama, his family, and his pastor.
Oh, I’m not saying he is the Messiah; But something is different….
Monday. The start of a new work week, time to get busy, shift a few paradigms, revolutionize outside the box. How ’bout a beer?
You’re saying, that wasn’t a beer commercial. Correct. But it was written by someone who was either sh*tfaced, or by people who think you are drunk because you are “bitter.” Back in 2007, FactCheck.org wrote that this was “hair-splitting” by Obama. And they mentioned it back on March 31, 3008.
Newsday mentioned that Obama took money from Greenberg Traurig, the lobbyist firm Jack Abramoff worked for. And USA Today notes that he took money from individuals working for lobbying companies, and has many recently former lobbyists on staff, which is where the “hair splitting” comes in. More hair splitting would be the massive amounts of money that Obama received through MoveOn, which also happens to be a registered 527 and also a PAC. For more on that, go here and here.
In other words, Obama is playing games. And notice that the above ad is an attack against Hillary, and does not defend against what Hillary’s says.
It may seem as if I am defending Hillary. I suppose, in an offhand way. Mostly what I am doing is highlighting Obama’s BS, since, unless he has at least one or two big meltdowns between now and the Dem convention, he will be their nominee for the Jackass Party, and I want McCain to win.
The Obamessiah says it is time to move on from the affair d’Wright
Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama on Wednesday sought to quell concerns over anti-American remarks by his former pastor, saying people are paying too much attention to a small number of “stupid” comments.
What else do we have to pay attention to? Hope and change? The affair d’Wright goes to the heart of Obama’s campaign, which is his character. 20 years, marriage, baptised children, etc, and so on. Doesn’t reflect well on Obama’s character.
