All I hear is people talking about the cost of gasoline and drilling for more oil and building more refineries when we have all the resources in the U.S. to make ourselves completely independent on Oil. We have the technology to produce ethanol from used tires, yard waste and other materials discarded every day.If Congress would just pass a law that all new vehicles produced in the U.S. and sold would have to be flex-fuel to use any mixture of gasoline, ethanol or methane. This would add about $100 to the cost of the vehicle. We could put more people to work working in this industry and eliminate all of the dependency on oil imports besides helping the environment. Why isn’t there someone taking the initative.
