You’re intimately familiar with the long term effects on the surrounds from of oil drilling, William?

Here’s a better idea: since it is inevitable oil will become so expensive that most people and businesses won’t be able to afford it anyway, spend your efforts developing alternatives and weaning them off it rather than trying to wring out the last few drops.

Have you taken a look at drilling methods nowadays, Mike? They are pretty darned safe.

So start drilling in wildlife conservation parks - you’ll run out of oil anyway, but maybe a few years later as a result and you’ll kill a lot more animals.
